Hi friends!

My name is Mandy and I’m so happy to have you here. Genuinely.

I live in Arkansas with my husband, our young daughter, two crazy dogs, and a few backyard hens.

I’m a highly sensitive introvert who feels big, loves bigger, and crashes hard.  Sunshine is my love language.  I love to garden.  I adore camping with my family. Music stirs my soul, but you’d be hard-pressed to convince me that anything can top birds singing, water running, leaves rustling, and crickets chirping. I have a hunch that heaven might smell like fresh-cut grass on a hot summer day. 

That husband I mentioned? His name is Drew. We were high school sweethearts in the 90’s and we’re still going strong. Our relationship has weathered military deployments, parenting chronically ill children, child, and adopting a baby. Oh, and then there’s all the normal stuff that goes along with being two humans who have chosen to partner for life. Sometimes it’s hard work. Sometimes it’s the good stuff that everyone dreams of. Every day we choose each other and 100% of the time it is worth it. He’s a stand-up guy who loves me well and I’ll stop there before it gets super sappy.

All of this is only to say that I’m passionate about being present in my life- even when this life doesn’t look like I thought it would. Life is messy, but God is good and I believe in happiness.
